Sketch-to-Stretch

             I focused my sketch-to-stretch on the importance of collaboration. I feel that all chilren need to collaborate with peers in every subject area. Through talking to others, students are able to hear their own opinion aloud and consider new perspectives. They are also able to develop their own thinking by trying to explain their thoughts to others and are able to change and use other’s knowledge as their own. I also think that collaboration is important because it allows for an expansion of resources. Students have diverse experiences, perspectives and talents that bring new knowledge to the classroom.
